This week, National Centre CEO Dr Leanne Beagley joined a panel of international speakers for the online virtual event – Tracking National Budgets to End Child Sexual Abuse.
Hosted by FP Analytics, in partnership with the Oak Foundation and World Vision, the session launched important research that deepens the understanding of the levels of resources needed to combat child sexual abuse in low-, middle-, and high-income countries. This research aims to fill a critical gap in the understanding of national budgeting dedicated to this issue to date, and to shed light on what more needs to be done to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal target (SDG 16.2) to end abuse, exploitation, trafficking and sexual violence against children.
