National Centre launches Here for Change

The National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse (National Centre) is pleased to announce to launch of Here for Change – our organisational Five Year Strategy.

The Strategy has been widely informed by the National Centre’s stakeholder network, which includes victims and survivors, practitioners, researchers and industry leaders, as well the wider community. The Strategy will be implemented in accordance with an Implementation Plan that emphasises learning and improving as we go.

Speaking on behalf of the National Centre, CEO Dr Leanne Beagley said:

“Here for Change represents the beginning of the journey that the National Centre must take along with our partners to transform the way child sexual abuse is understood and responded to in Australia. It not only outlines how we plan to approach the challenges ahead, but our commitment to actively listening to the voices of victims and survivors of child sexual abuse and ensuring they are at the centre of everything we do. The team at the National Centre are humbled to do this work and drive meaningful, generational change for all Australians.”
