National Centre CEO Dr Janine Bush speaks to the Sydney Morning Herald about the lifelong impacts of child sexual abuse and the urgent need for a more responsive, trauma-informed system that supports victim-survivors. The article shares the story of former Victorian Police detective Graeme Simpfendorfer, whose own experiences of child sexual abuse were brought to light while training to be part of the Sexual Offence and Child Abuse Investigation Team.
