The National Centre is deeply saddened by the targeted antisemitic attack in Bondi on Sunday evening. We acknowledge those who lost their lives and were injured. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims’ families, loved ones, Jewish communities across the country and all those affected by this senseless act of violence.
We recognise the profound impact of these events on communities across the country. This tragedy should not be used to advance racism or discrimination. Everyone should be able to practice their faith in safety and without fear.
Grief and fear should unite us, not divide us. We are stronger when we recognise our shared humanity and stand together as one community.
Violence must have no place in our society.
