“I would like to see people held accountable. Redress gave me compensation through the means of finance, counselling and an apology from the department who employed the person who perpetrated abuse. However, this was a government cover up, and staff who were apart of the cover up are now in higher positions within the organisation. I was offered an apology by an executive who was the previous area manager under whom this abuse occurred and was covered up.”

We recognise that there are children and young people today who are experiencing sexual abuse and dedicate ourselves to doing all we can to expedite and promote their effective protection and care.
